The mission of pure wellness:

At pure wellness we practice a positive approach to living - an approach that emphasizes the whole person. We believe in the importance of integrating body, mind, and spirit; and the appreciation that everything you do, think, feel, and believe has an impact on your state of health.

Our mission is to enable individuals to achieve an optimal, balanced state of living through a focus on rest, exercise, and diet. These three areas touch every aspect of our lives in some way, and play a vital role in achieving a healthy body, mind, and spirit - pure wellness.

We currently offer a variety of services, and believe in the importance of them all, but we'll meet you where you're at. We welcome you to come see us for any or all of our services.

My passion is helping people achieve optimal levels of wellness through a path of self-discovery with the goal of building new habits that are both enjoyable and healthy. I would consider it an honor to help you clarify and achieve your wellness goals. Please let me know how I can serve you.

WWFM?  Is it a radio station?  Maybe a trendy acronym to wear on bracelets or t-shirts? In this case, it's neither.  It's simply a question I find useful in my personal life and especially with clients:  what works for me? There are so many fads in wellness today.  I like variety, and I don't think there's one path for every person.  There are a few principles, but many methods.  My goal is to help you understand those principles and then empower you to develop the methods you enjoy. So ask yourself, "what works for me?"  If you're not sure, that's where I come in.  A good wellness coach can help you intelligently explore options that ultimately help you find the right path for you - the path to a better you!

Which (you fill in the blank...diet, ab workout, etc.) will give me the best results?

I'm often asked questions like, "which diet, ab exercise, cardio method, etc.,  will give me the best results?"  My answer is always the same: the one you will do consistently.  Yes, there's a little more to it than that, but it's the small things you do everyday that make a big difference.  Wellness is a lifestyle, and it takes practice, just like anything else you want to be good at.  If you're not sure where to start, I'd love to help.

Change can be difficult.  Life can be difficult.  We all go through struggles that seem overwhelming.  I've personally experienced some unbelievably traumatic events. And although I was never formally diagnosed with P.T.S.D., or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, I know I have had to work through some serious emotional damage.  P.T.S.D. can occur after a trauma of some sort has shaken you to your core. And whether or not you've had trauma to this degree, there's always a choice. After coming out on the other side of my own personal tragedy, I made a choice to develop what I also call P.T.S.D. - Post Traumatic Strength Development. Yes, life will knock you down, but every punch can serve to toughen you, to empower you to face even more difficult challenges. Embrace the struggle. Resistance provides opportunity to grow. See yourself as you aspire to be, and then do one thing each day to get a little closer to that vision. And Please let me know how I can help.
